A recent blog post from the Inevitable Blog sheds some light  on what it means for him to be a CCIE, and what it means for everyone else.  This interesting read originated from a 2001 article about the same topic.  One of the most interesting parts of this post to me was about what a CCIE personally means to him and what benefits it can bring.
