The Improv Comedy Bar and Dinner Theater has been launching many television and film faces for decades. The Improv was established in 1963 in New York City. The founder Buddy Friedman was inspired to provide a bar where performers would have the chance to showcase their talents.

The Improv always has a star studded audience. Most actors, agencies, comedians, and talent management view the Improv as the premiere venue for showcasing talents.

South First Billiards is the center for art and entertainment. The art gallery has 14,000 square feet with 20 billiard tables. South First has live music, and holds private and corporate parties. There is a wide selection of great food menus at the full restaurant and the bars. The Paragon Restaurant and Bar located in the Hotel Montgomery, was inspired by the many casual restaurants in France. The restaurant provides stylish decors, and a contemporary new American classic menu.

The Paragon is famous for their pre-theater dining and lunches. With its thirteen foot high ceilings, the restaurant offers booths with zinc topped wood tables, and a warm earth toned decor. The dining cuisine has classic American entrees like Pancetta wrapped monkish, pork loin chop, and butternut squash ravioli.
