When you are a Cisco tech, you are always looking for things to do after your CCIE exam. The Central Business District is the hub of Sydney’s commercial and financial districts. This area is one of the popular tourists attractions, and is home to a variety of attractions and activities. Whether you are a nature lover, art lover or history buff, Sydney’s central business district has it all.

The Sydney Harbour Bridge, and the Sydney Opera House are the most popular sites in Sydney. They are both world famous attractions. The view off the Sydney Harbour Bridge offers a magnificent view of the harbour that is definitely worth a few photographs. When looking to relax and enjoy an elegant meal, stop at one of Sydney’s two revolving restaurants in the AMP Tower Centrepoint. The AMP Towers offers a breathtaking view of the harbour. There is also the IMAX Theater, and The Sydney Aquarium that are sure to please tourists of all ages.

The exam is not easy by any means, and many people have to take the exam multiple times before being able to actually pass both portions of the exam: the written and the lab. The reason for this is that the written exam covers so much material, over nine subjects, and the blueprints for the exams don’t even cover all of the material that might be included. When people get to the lab exam, it can be very intimidating and a lot of pressure is on people to pass, especially due to the amount of money that goes into the exam fee.

However, there are many benefits to having a CCIE certification in the first place, because it is so rare among the industry. If you have already gotten your first certification and are thinking about getting your second one, you should consider how it will affect your career. Chances are you would get a salary increase after getting your second CCIE certification. If you current job wouldn’t offer you a better opportunity, there are many other companies who offer amazing benefits for CCIE certified employees who come to work for them.

On top of what employers can do for you when you get CCIE certifications, the customers and clients who you serve will also benefit from your abilities. You will be able to do your job better than other people because you will have proven that you know your stuff. Being certified commands a respect from co-workers and customers, and you’ll find that your clients will trust you more to help them with their networking and computer needs.

Because there are multiple tracks that can be taken for the CCIE exam, you can specialize in multiple fields which will open up new doors for you. Some of these tracks work well together such as the Routing and Switching certification combined with the Security certification. This means not only can you set up and modify a network, you also have the skills to protect it from outside influences that could potentially damage the network. This puts you above many other co-workers at your job.

In order to get the certification, you need to get the CCIE passing score or better. The score is 75 for the written exam, and the lab portion may vary depending on which certification you are trying for. The costs can be a lot, and it will definitely require some work on your part, but in the end if you get your second certification you’ll be able to get a dream job in your field.

I did the first 3 INE Mock labs and about 4 Poly labs. IMHO, your chances of passing the lab on the first time is far less if you haven’t taken the Mock labs. Not because the questions are the same as the lab, but because of the feedback you get. To be honest I was shocked the first time I saw the results of the grading, who ever marks these things plays the part of the evil proctor really well!! I had lost about 15 points on what I considered then to be “unfair” marking by the proctor. It took me a day or two to get over the whole thing! Then realised that the few dollars I spent on the Mock lab had saved me thousands in a failed “real” attempt. The proctor is able to pick up on all your little oversights! Learn from them, don’t make them again and move on

The Poly labs are also useful, less so because of the feedback, but because they expose you to a different style of questioning and documentation. You need to be comfortable with this when it comes to the real thing.
